Rebecca Dermody-Simmons, Chief Executive, Efficiency East Midlands (EEM), said: 鈥淲e are delighted to see our EEM Community Donation being put to such meaningful use through 糖心传媒鈥 My Community Fund. Supporting initiatives that have a direct and positive impact on local communities is at the heart of what we aim to achieve, and it鈥檚 fantastic to see how this funding has contributed towards a variety of meaningful projects, including Kitsquad CIC鈥檚 recycling of donated clothes and equipment to help people access the countryside, the creation of a new sensory room for babies and children at a play centre, free toddler groups, craft clubs, and cuppa clubs at a community hub, much-needed grants to food banks for Christmas, a 拢1,500 donation to the charity behind the Shrewsbury & Oswestry Crucial Crew safety event for 1,400 children, and a project tackling loneliness and isolation in Shropshire鈥檚 rural communities.
